About The Event
Conference attendees and the general public are invited to come experience a more direct, interactive, and hands-on portion of the conference. Come learn about the history of eating insects and see a variety of exotic insect species up close. Learn about the work being done by UGA with honey bees and with innovative food start-ups. Watch cooking demonstrations to find out how you can work with insect cuisine in your own kitchen. Samples will be on hand to taste how delicious the results can be! Speak with industry experts about the work that they are doing and ask questions directly to the authors of the academic posters on display. This event is free and open to the public.
