The North American Coalition for Insect Agriculture (NACIA) seeks proposals for the 2018 International Conference, Eating Insects Athens. The conference will be held August 13th - August 15th, 2018 in Athens, Georgia, USA at the Georgia Center for Continuing Education.
Eating Insects Athens (EIA) will build on the momentum of Eating Insects Detroit (2016) by bringing together global experts and leaders in the edible insect movement from industry, academia, government, cultural adoption and more. This three day conference will include exciting presentations on research and industry progress, an expo, several catered meals centered around insects, as well as opportunities for networking and collaborating.
The mission of NACIA is to foster collaboration amongst stakeholders and create a unified voice encouraging the positive growth of insects as both feed and food.
PRESENT AT EIA:
Proposals for poster and oral presentations are due June 10th, 2018. Detailed submission guidelines can be found on the conference abstract submission web page.

VENDOR AND ARTIST PARTICIPATION:
There will be an opportunity for Vendor Booths at EIA with dedicated time spots during the conference for interaction with registrants as well as a Vendor Exhibit open to the public where products may be purchased.
The EIA planning committee is also seeking insect themed artwork and merchandise for display and sale at the 2018 conference. Submissions for the Art Exhibition and Artist Market are due Monday July 2nd, 2018. Please see the Art Exhibition entry form and the Artist Market entry form to upload images of your work.
If you are interested in volunteering in order to have your Registration Fee reimbursed please register for at least 8 hours of conference service. We’ll assign direct activities prior to the conference.
